Achei o tema \u201cCriando o Futuro: Aprofundando a Pr\u00e1tica de Governan\u00e7a Corporativa por meio de colabora\u00e7\u00f5es multissetoriais e multigeracionais\u201d bastante instrutivo e falei extensivamente sobre a import\u00e2ncia de uma governan\u00e7a corporativa s\u00f3lida, incluindo li\u00e7\u00f5es da minha jornada corporativa. A governan\u00e7a \u00e9 extremamente importante quando voc\u00ea deseja construir para durar\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Vimos como a falta de governan\u00e7a corporativa pode destruir institui\u00e7\u00f5es. Na maioria das vezes, o que est\u00e1 em jogo \u00e9 o fracasso da governan\u00e7a corporativa. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Ent\u00e3o, para mim, as institui\u00e7\u00f5es que priorizam a governan\u00e7a e a disciplina para se manterem meticulosamente e rigorosamente no caminho, ficam sempre \u00e0 frente da curva e por \u00faltimo.<br><\/li><li>A nossa pr\u00f3pria hist\u00f3ria, como creio que alguns de voc\u00eas sabem, come\u00e7ou em 1997, no Standard Trust Bank, aqui na Nig\u00e9ria. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Adquirimos um banco em dificuldades e delineamos a estrat\u00e9gia que quer\u00edamos adotar enquanto nosso conselho fornecia orienta\u00e7\u00e3o e supervis\u00e3o.<br> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>A nossa inten\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00famero um na altura era tornarmo-nos financeiramente vi\u00e1veis porque \u00e9ramos um banco em dificuldades. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>A nossa segunda inten\u00e7\u00e3o era tornar-nos um dos 10 maiores bancos da Nig\u00e9ria e definimos prazos para o conseguir. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Nossa inten\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00famero tr\u00eas era nos tornarmos um dos tr\u00eas maiores bancos da Nig\u00e9ria. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Essa inten\u00e7\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gica ajudou a moldar nossas atividades, a\u00e7\u00f5es e realiza\u00e7\u00f5es. Ouso dizer que fomos disciplinados e focados nessas inten\u00e7\u00f5es e de vez em quando nos reun\u00edamos para avaliar nossa jornada. \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>A inten\u00e7\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gica por si s\u00f3 \u00e9 apenas meras ideias e sonhos, mas o que nos ajudou \u2013 chamo-lhe a base mais estrat\u00e9gica \u2013 foi a ades\u00e3o estrita \u00e0 governa\u00e7\u00e3o, apesar de na altura sermos muito jovens e nos chamarem de \u201ccowboys\u201d que provavelmente n\u00e3o sab\u00edamos o que est\u00e1vamos fazendo internamente. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Mas vimos em primeira m\u00e3o o que a falta de governa\u00e7\u00e3o pode fazer \u00e0s institui\u00e7\u00f5es que conhec\u00edamos. Ele me escreveu sobre os procedimentos do conselho, como se sentar, onde se senta o presidente, onde se senta o secret\u00e1rio, onde se senta o diretor-geral, como se preparar, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;Fiquei surpreso, pensei que era s\u00f3 participar da reuni\u00e3o, conversar e ir embora.
