The land was small, but the vision was big: The Story of Mary Msigwa
In 2024, Mary Msigwa launched CAM3 Estate Company to drive climate-smart farming and empower smallholder farmers in Dodoma, Tanzania. Starting with just one acre, she integrated drip irrigation, organic pest control, crop rotation, and solar-powered water pumping to cut emissions and boost food security.
Today, CAM3 is more than a farm. It’s a hub for vegetable and fruit production, nursery services, agri-tourism, and youth training. By purchasing and storing produce from smallholder farmers, especially women, Mary helps reduce post-harvest losses and secure fair prices, lifting rural incomes.
From one acre to a model of eco-friendly agribusiness in Central Tanzania. This is what determination and sustainability can achieve.
